Selection 100K Americas

Details
Published: Tuesday, 14 March 2017 01:12

Dear Americas Federations,

It is with great excitement and anticipation that I share with you the awarding of the first ever IAU 100K Americas Continental Championships to the Mad City 100K in Madison, Wisconsin, USA. The event will be held at the same time as the USATF National 100K Championships.

This is a "save the date" notification. but more information will be forthcoming in the form of a GIS.

The date will be Saturday 8 April 2017, and the website is http://www.madcity100k.com/home.php.

Please note that there are no travel grants for this event, and only individual competition will occur (i.e. no team competition). Accommodations will be provided for 2 male and 2 female entrants from each of the Americas federations. It is highly likely that this will occur in the form of home stays (accommodations with local runners who will act as hosts for your runners during this time).

If you should have any questions, please contact Ryne Melcher or Armand Leblanc. More information will follow.
